English Lunch ～Meet other English speakers over lunch!～

★About the Lunch Events:
While you're welcome to come to the lounge anytime, usually eating
in the lounge is not allowed. However, for the lunch events, if
you are looking for a place to eat, or busy during the afternoon
ICC event hours, this is a great chance to casually meet people
over a meal at the ICC. Just don't forget to bring something to eat!

Thai Cafe ～ Thailand from the student point of view ～

Get to know Thailand from the student's perspective and
learn basic Thai greetings and writing at the ICC's Thai Cafe.
For this event a Waseda student from Thailand will share about
Thai culture and teach a fun Thai game. You'll also be able to learn
basic Thai and how to write in Thai characters. Afterward, enjoy a
casual cafe time to chat with students from Thailand to talk
about Thailand and get some travel tips. Come stop by and enjoy
this chance to get to know Thai culture and students.
We will also have spring rolls, a popular Thai dish.
Program: 4:30-4:50pm Presentation about Thailand, Thai culture, and student life
by Suthinan Thanintranon, a Thai student at the Waseda School
of Fundamental Science and Engineering
4:50-5:00pm Thai game experience
5:00-5:20pm Learn basic Thai and writing
5:20-6:00pm Cafe Time with drinks and spring rolls
(for the first 50 students)
