Summer vacation is here! Any plans?
Why not become an ICC event supporter, and help us to organize
the Welcome Festival and Japanese Festival for the fall 2010 !

The Welcome Festival and Japanese Festival are a series of events
organized at the start of every semester to welcome freshmen, including
international students. By becoming a supporter, you can:

- Work together with other local and international students
- Learn more about Japanese culture
- Become a "senpai" for newly arriving international students
by sharing your knowledge and experience

If any of the above appeals to you, drop by an Information
Session to find out more!

Information Session (1) Aug. 30th (Mon) 1:00 - 1:20pm
Information Session (2) Aug. 31st (Tue) 4:00 - 4:20pm
Information Session (3) Sep. 1st (Wed) 11:00 -11:20am

* The contents of the three information sessions are the same.
* Registration is not required for the information sessions,
however you must attend one of the sessions in order
to be eligible for becoming an actual supporter.
* Participating in an information session does not obligate
you to become a supporter.
* Those who already have experience as an ICC Japanese Festival
event supporter are still required to attend an information
session.

Place: ICC lounge (1st Fl., Building 7)

Eligibility: Waseda students, faculty, and staff members

◆Welcome Festival
Period: Sep 21 (Tue) - Oct. 9 (Sat)
Event ideas(tentative) :
(1)ICC Special Campus Tour (in English & Japanese)
(2)Cafe-style event where you make sightseeing plans in Tokyo
(3)Cafe-style event where Waseda's ICC is introduced
(4)Cafe-style event where participants enjoy talking in Japanese
(5)Exploring downtown Tokyo in groups by using the Arakawa Metropolitan street car

◆Japanese Festival
Period: Oct. 15 (Fri) - Oct. 22 (Fri)
Event ideas(tentative) :
(1)Japanese culture event (example: try-on a Yukata, do calligraphy, try Japanese music, etc.)
(2)J-pop Party
(3)Other

Sep. 2nd (Thu) 9:00am -Supporter application deadline
Sep. 3rd (Fri) 3:00-5:00pm 　 -Supporters' meeting @ the ICC
Sep. 3rd (Fri) until the event day -Supporters' preparation period
