how about making time for a uniquely fun and memorable experience with the ICC?
The ICC is looking for supporters to help create and carry out events to
welcome new students to Waseda in the spring term, and we want you to join!
Become a part of the team that is going get new students off to a memorable
start with the Welcome Festival in April and Japanese Cultural Week in May.

Event supporters join ICC student staff leaders in making and holding events
at the ICC. Becoming a supporter is a great way to get a new experience that is
both fun and useful for expanding your network on campus. You'll be able to
take pride in successfully helping produce an event that brings a smile and new
opportunities to the students who join. Don't miss this one of a kind experience!
Get started by joining one of our Information Sessions where we'll explain all of
the details. Read on below!

◆Purpose and Outline
To help local and international students coming to Waseda for the
Spring Semester have a smoother transition into campus life, provide
them with useful information, and enable them to enjoy Japanese
culture and customs. Supporters will start helping to produce these
events in mid-September.

◆Supporter Information Sessions
Date & time: (1)March 7th (Wed) 3:00-3:30pm
　　　 　　　　 　 　 (2)March 8th (Thur) 4:00-4:30pm
　　　 　　　　 　 　 (3)March 9th (Fri) 1:00-1:30am
　　　 　 　 *The contents of the three information sessions are the same.
　　　 　 　 *Registration is not required for the information sessions.
　　　 　 　 *Participating in an information session does not obligate
　　　　 　　 you to become a supporter.
　　　 　 　 *Those who already have experience as an ICC Japanese Festival
　　　　 　　 event supporter are still required to attend an information session.

　　　　　　　　 　 (4)Cafe-style event where participants enjoy talking in Japanese

【Japanese Cultural Week】
Period: May 21st (Mon) - May 26th (Sat)
Event ideas:(1)Japanese culture event
(tentative) 　 　 (example: try-on a Yukata, do calligraphy, try Japanese music, etc.)
　　　　　　　　 　 (2)Workshop where participants learn about Japanese food culture
　　　　　　　　 　 (3)An outing event where participants enjoy Japanese culture
